Your search will find volumes with at least a saveset older than two
months, but savesets newer than that may also be on it.
I usually do something like a combination of two searches, where one search
is the inverse of the other; in your case, that means
first you search for volumes with savesets older that two months ( your
search ), then, to make sure, you search that volume for savesets newer:


mminfo -q 'volume=VOL, savetime>two monts'

alternatively, you can do two general searches, one for older, one for
newer and then compare the  list of volumes each returns. A volume that is
on each list has both older and newer savesets on it.
