Hello all,

Good suggestion -- the file would be nsrxchsv.log in nsr\applogs folder.

We are improving this for 3.1 of the Exchange Module: any operation invoked
from the UI will create a file of the objects that it saved, which can be
used as an input file for subsequent operations.

Thanks,
_Scott

Hi Paul, I have often come across this problem and there is a chance
that the mailbox name you are putting into the saveset is incorrect. What
I would do would be too run a mailbox backup of all users (i.e.
msexch:mb ) but just let it backup the first few mailboxes before
stopping the backup. This way you have confirmed that the mailbox backup
is capable of being successful but more importantly you can now go and view
the log file for the mailbox backups.
In this log file there will be an exact listing of the mailbox name savesets
and you can now make sure that you are using the correct syntax in your
saveset or even cut and paste from the log file into the client saveset in
Networker Admin.
Only catch is I can't remember for sure which log file you need to view but
I am almost sure that it is on the Exchange server in the nsr folder and you
will see the mailbox details at the bottom of the log file once you have run
the mailbox backup.

explicitly run a mailbox backup on a mailbox with one
name. Not a full name like myself where I can specify
MSEXCH:MB/Last, First and the mailbox get's backed up.

If I specify MSEXCH:MB/Name the backup fails for that mailbox.

Is anyone else doing this????

Thanks,
Paul C.
