Hello Steven,

You can try the 5.x binaries and they will probably work, but there have 
been *many* improvements since then.  The community distribution no 
longer contains the Windows source code, so the only way to build it 
yourself is to get a very old one 5.2.13 (I think) and try to build it. 
The instructions are in the README, but it is not simple.

On the other hand, you can purchase at a very minimum the Bacula 
Enterprise Windows binaries built for the community version -- the 
latest version is 7.4.4.  The binaries are on the bacula.org website, 
but only for personal use, all non-personal use (any corporation, 
government, school, ... can purchase the binaries from:
