[Bacula-users] restricts bacula client in a single folder
2014-12-01 09:40:52
I have been searching for a solution for quite a while but I haven't
find anything yet...I hope I'm not just blind...
I have the bacula-fd daemon running on my machine and I want to restrict
it to a single folder (I have no access to the server side and I feel
uncomfortable with giving access to all my pc...).
I don't see any easy way of doing this without involving jails.
Would it be possible to run the daemon as non-root user so it will be
confined in the directories where it has access?
thanks a lot
M.
PS I'm running Debian.
