regarding Bacula version:
  5.2.13 (19 February 2013) x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu suse 11.0
  with MySql

On warming up for the upcomming next major release and updating Bacula
from version 5.2.12 to 5.2.13 due to some strange behaviour of Bat on
file selection mode on "Restore Select" - empty dir tree - I did compile
the latest version from the sources.

I found using Bat with Xming over the network on a Windows Client Bat
has an extreme slow screen build-up - much slower than any Windows
version of Bat.

Workaround:
I replaced QT package "depkgs-qt-01Jan13.tar.gz" by
"depkgs-qt-24Dec11.tar.gz" by applying Simone's
bacula-5.2.13-bat-build.patch to the Bat sources.
Bat is fast again.

Hm, Ubuntu 12.04 ships with Qt version 4.8.1 and i'm for sure not

Bug fixing on the qt side, probably. The minimum version required by
the code to compile succesfully is qt 4.6.2.

Bacula for Fedora/RHEL is patched this way to accept a lower version
that is shipped in RHEL 6 as system libraries and works fine. We're
lowering the requirement since June 2012 and so far we did not face
any issue.

Now restoring from a job with specific job-id its possible to walk
through the dir tree for file selection but its not possible to alter
the target client for the files to be restored.

There are popping up some dialog boxes for modifying parameters - only
"yes" in the first window works - all other answers will terminate the
restore process immediately - after selecting the target "To client" and
finishing the "Restore Run" windows with "OK" a window with error
message pops up "Error - .mod: is an invalid command." - and the restore
goes to the default client.

Compiling Bat with "depkgs-qt-01Jan13" the dir tree for file selection
is missing again.
