Hi,
I have the following backup strategy: I make a full backup once a month,
then from tuesday to thursday I make an incremental backup. On every
friday I make a differential backup. This backup is made in an external
hd (1.5Tera). On the next month, I repeat the process, but using another
external hd. On the third month I delete all files from month 1 and use
the external hd again, so in practical terms my preservation criteria is
one month. I need to implement a process to preserve backup for more
time (say 1 year). The only solution for this is purchasing 12 external
hds and rotates each one from month to month. Some of you have a
suggestion to make this process better?
Thanks.
Marcelo

PS: I dont want to use tapes, but only hds. Someone gave a suggestion of
using a cloud backup service, but I dont trust 100% on these services.
