Ok, thanks. They do write to different files within that archive device, as 
well. Any other thoughts/ideas as to what might be causing my issue?

That should be fine. Some users make the mistake of trying to use a single 
storage device and think since it is a file device that it can load use more 
than 1 volume at a time (which it can not).
