Oh man...I didn't realize after the "done" Bacula showed what volumes are needed. Interesting that when the restore is from a File Volume, it is showed like offline, i.e, without the "*", but it works anyway.

=============================================================
$ done
Bootstrap records written to /var/lib/bacula/backupserver-dir.restore.3.bsr

The job will require the following
   Volume(s)                 Storage(s)                SD Device(s)
===========================================================================

    volumeteste               BS                        Default

Volumes marked with "*" are online.

=============================================================

Thank you Guys, this group is helping me a lot.

Hello,

2011/5/16 Rickifer Barros <rickiferbarros AT gmail DOT com>
Hi Folks,

I have not found a way to check in wich volume is such job. If I have backed up in many tapes and I want to know where is such job, i.e. what volume is the job, then I could to pick up such tape and run the restore.

When you will prepare a restore job then you will get info about required volumes. i.e.

* restore

Automatically selected FileSet: Linux Server Full Set

+-------+-------+----------+-------------+---------------------+------------+
| jobid | level | jobfiles | jobbytes    | starttime           | volumename |

| 4,115 | F     |   29,732 | 827,267,760 | 2011-05-09 02:00:10 | 0001C      |
| 4,137 | I     |       40 |   1,642,255 | 2011-05-10 02:00:20 | 00183      |
| 4,164 | I     |       40 |   1,661,129 | 2011-05-11 02:00:06 | 0010D      |

+-------+-------+----------+-------------+---------------------+------------+
You have selected the following JobIds: 4115,4137,4164,4183,4197,4211

Building directory tree for JobId(s) 4115,4137,4164,4183,4197,4211 ...  ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
27,476 files inserted into the tree.

You are now entering file selection mode where you add (mark) and
remove (unmark) files to be restored. No files are initially added, unless
you used the "all" keyword on the command line.
Enter "done" to leave this mode.

cwd is: /
$ add etc
1,740 files marked.
$ done
Bootstrap records written to /var/lib/bacula/mars-dir.restore.20.bsr

The job will require the following
   Volume(s)                 Storage(s)                SD Device(s)
===========================================================================

   *0001C                     deimos-sd                 FSAutochanger
   *00109                     deimos-sd                 FSAutochanger

Volumes marked with "*" are online.

Above example shows that you will need only two volumes: 0001C and 00109 (and all are online).

Thanks in advance.

Rickifer Barros.
