My initial thoughts are:

a. Compile and Install Bacula from scratch with same configure options.
b. Copy the Volume Data to new machine.
c. Perhaps copy log info from /var/bacula
d. Dump Database on old machine, migrate dump to new machine,
reinitialize database tables and import database.
e. Copy conf files from /etc/bacula from old to new machine.
f. Do dns update for Director FQDN
g. Test

In this case I am assuming the machine name for Director will be the
same, the locations of files on Disk will be the same directory
names.

Is there something obvious I am missing? Should this work?

Thank you in advance,
Randy

connectivity to a physical network are well understood - see how these
