Hi,
(if that has been already asked, sorry, feel free to provide a pointer...)
that weekend I found time to upgrade a 2.4.2 bacula zu 5.0.3.
Apart from an exploding mysql on restore, everything worked fine.
But now I'm trying to look into accurate backups and feel confused ;-).
To put it straight, every incremental backup with accurate on backups
everything, I can also see it in the estimates:
> *estima job=darth accurate=yes level=incremental
> Using Catalog "MyCatalog"
> Connecting to Client darth-fd at darth:9102
> 2000 OK estimate files=699,632 bytes=84,037,196,078
> *estima job=darth accurate=no level=incremental
> Using Catalog "MyCatalog"
> Connecting to Client darth-fd at darth:9102
> 2000 OK estimate files=4,280 bytes=11,431,322,183
The accurate incremental job seems to match nearly everything, the
incremental that what I'd expect.
And now the snippets from my config:
FileSet {
Name = "Darth Full Set"
Ignore FileSet Changes = yes
Include {
Options {
signature=MD5
onefs=no
sparse=yes
Compression=GZIP
accurate=pins5
}
[...]
}
Job {
Name = "darth"
[...]
Accurate=yes
}
Am I missing something central? One thing, I did not yet make a full backup
for the files in question with 5.0.3, the latest one is still from 2.4.2.
Kindest regards,
Dietz
