Hi all,

i have my retention configuration only in the pool resource.

Job and file retentions included, because different pools have
different retention times for job, files, vol., e.g.

Pool {
   Name = Differential-Woche
   Pool Type = Backup
   Recycle = yes # Bacula can automatically
recycle Volumes
   Recycle Oldest Volume = yes
   AutoPrune = yes # Prune expired volumes
   Volume Retention = 284 days         # 9 month
   Job Retention = 250 days
   File Retention = 250 days
   LabelFormat = "Server-${Pool}-${Year}-${Month:p/2/0/r}-${Day:p/2/0/
r}-${Hour:p/2/0/r}${Minute:p/2/0/r}${Second:p/2/0/r}"
   Maximum Volumes = 16 # Limit number of Volumes in Pool
   Storage = sto-bandserver-sd
}

No Retention statements are in in the job and client resource.

Well, i noticed that some jobs don't have fileentries in the catalog
anymore.

I assume that my file/job retention statements in the pool resource
are ignored.

Are there some defaults applied and not overwritten by them in the
pool conf now?

Do i need to set job and files retentions in the client resource?

How to handle different retentions for different pool?

Regards

PM
