Is it normal behaviour that the file daemon is involved when making copies/verifies? That's not very efficient when verifying jobs from external servers. While testing I canceled a verify job of a backup that had roughly 500MB and under 1000 files after about an hour. Today I canceled a scheduled verify for 2 GB / 13000 files that started at 6:13 when I got to work at 9. In both cases sta client showed that the file daemon was doing something.
