I have a Dell PowerVault TL2000 tape library connected to a Dell
PowerEdge R610 server. The problem seems to be related to the
autochanger. The tape unload command timeouts and the backup fails. The
tape is unloaded but the tape library hangs and becomes non-responsive.
Even the on/off button does not work. A total power off and on cycle
brings the tape library back online again.

This problem is intermittent, occuring about once a week. I've
done manual mount/unmount on all the slots without any problems. The
tape library chassis has been changed before but the problem remains.

What could be the problem?
