Sometimes (less than 1 time per 3 months) I see this with my archive.
And the solution is to stop bacula-sd. If that did not work unload mt

modprobe -r mt

If that did not work unload the scsi driver then reload it.

for me this is sym53c8xx

so

modprobe -r sym53c8xx

modprobe sym53c8xx

usually does the trick.

So I see that but it seems to me like maybe there should be an entry for
mt for the tape drive too then? I have since rebooted both the tape
loader and server in hopes of fixing the problem to no avail. I wish I
could get the tape drive working so we can get our back ups running.
