Hi,

I have installed bacula and i'm trying to backup on DLTv4 medium. I have 10 media and I want to have even and odd weeks and I also want to be able to backup on the same medium each day if I forgot to change medium...

I have defined the following pool:

Pool {
  Name = mediaset_backup
  Pool Type = Backup
  Use Volume _Once_ = yes
  Recycle = yes
  AutoPrune = yes
#  Maximum Volume Jobs = 1
  Volume Retention = 30 seconds
  Label Format = "backup.bacula."
}

Here is the volume list:

Pool: mediaset_backup

Here are my questions:

- why does bacula have recycled volume 5 and not volume 4?
- I have put the volume 9 in my drive. Bacula can't backup and says that volume 9 is "Used" and not "Recycle" and that I must insert volume 5 and mount it. When i look at director status, it says "waiting for a mount request". Why? I think it should use the volume 9 because of my retention period of 30 seconds but it does not...

Do you have any idea?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Best regards

Ludovic
