I am. The FD receives a key from the DIR (not sure if the DIR generates
the key and gives it to the SD too, or if the SD has given the key to
the DIR). Either way, the DIR has previously contacted the SD telling it
about the job and the SD is expecting a connection from the FD and
expecting the FD to authenticate with it using the key given to it by
the DIR.
