Much of that is done automatically by the regular pruning process. It 
is controlled by the retention periods you set.

Some things are not automatically cleaned - file name tables, path 
name tables, restore jobs and admin jobs, but these don't use much 
space usually, and can be handled by using the dbcheck program.
