[BackupPC-users] bug in backuppc 4.1.1 / rsync_bpc
2017-04-26 22:04:42
I have a Windows machine running cygwin rsyncd that backuppc 4.1.1 won't
do a full backup on. Rsync on the Windows side exits with
2017/04/26 22:50:23 [6760] rsync: writefd_unbuffered failed to write 4
bytes to socket [sender]: Connection reset by peer (104)
2017/04/26 22:50:23 [6760] rsync error: error in rsync protocol data
stream (code 12) at
/home/lapo/package/rsync-3.0.9-1/src/rsync-3.0.9/io.c(1532) [sender=3.0.9]
and rsync_bpc keeps running on the server side without realizing the
other end has gone away. I have an strace of rsync_bpc when this
happens, it doesn't show anything useful.
Previously, backuppc 3.x backed this machine up without problems.
What can I do to help squash this bug?
