Thanks!
I’ve got two different sites and at both I have Backuppc running to onsite Ubuntu servers and it works great.
1.
At one site, I'd also like to have a backuppc, use as its data folder, a computer at another site that is only available via SSH. Possible?
2.
At another site, I'd also like to have a backuppc, use as its data folder, one of the public cloud options (Amazon, Drop box, etc). Possible?
Also, in each case, is it possible to have backuppc have more than one data directory or do I need to create multiple Backuppc installations?

I have my /var/lib/BackupPC stored on a drbd device. The counterpart
server is located through a WiFi connection in a different building.
And yes, it's slow. I have very high I/O waits on my BackupPC server
while it's connected and in sync.
So I usually disconnect (by cron) when a BackupPC task is scheduled to
run. And during daytime (when no backup is running) I reconnect and the
re-sync of the device begins.
Well, not perfect and obviously does not protect from all types of
failures but it helps. Maybe I'll create a LVM snapshot on the remote
server...
Any special questions you're looking at?
Greetings
Christian
