I have installed backuppc on my centos 6.2 with LVM and 4 hd (neraly 7 TB) and works great. This is what I did.
- Install the EPEL (Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux) repository.
- Disable the system-config-firewall and selinux (may be there is a better way to do this, but it works for me)
- Then just:
- # yum install perl-File-RsyncP.i686
- #yum install perl-Net-FTP-AutoReconnect.noarch
- #yum install perl-Net-FTP-RetrHandle.noarch
- #yum install BackupPC.i686
- Finally configure apache's user and backuppc. You should know how to do that. Is the same for every backuppc plataforms
