Hi,

I have BackupPC backing up Windows C: drive using cygwin 1.7/ssh/rsync and vss.  It works like a charm. 

My question is, now that I have a clean backup of drive C:, how can I restore the registry if I need to?

My thoughts are for disaster recovery.  I can re-install the OS, and do a full restore, but the restore won't overwrite open files, hence the registry issue (among others).

With my clean VSS backup of C:, how can I do a disaster recovery?
