Hi,

I backup a windows client with rsyncd over ssh. I am pretty sure the ssh
connection was interrupted at 23:27.
In the /var/lib/backuppc/pc/st-ms-wv/XferLOG.0.z I found the error message:
  create 770 4294967295/4294967295 240986 Help/Windows/de-DE/artcone.h1s
Read EOF:
Tried again: got 0 bytes
finish: removing in-process file Help/Windows/de-DE/artconm.h1s
Child is aborting
Done: 1539 files, 573232406 bytes

but in the /var/lib/backuppc/LOG.0.z
2009-02-16 20:36:06 Started full backup on st-ms-wv (pid=615, share=WINDOWS)
2009-02-17 01:05:42 Finished full backup on st-ms-wv
2009-02-17 01:05:42 Running BackupPC_link st-ms-wv (pid=9360)
2009-02-17 01:06:05 Finished st-ms-wv (BackupPC_link st-ms-wv)

and backuppc believe that this first full backup was successful. But it wasn't.
It aborts somewhere in the middle.

Is it possible to recognise this situation and report a right status?
What is the reason that backuppc/rsync didn't recognize the connection
interruption
at 23:27 but at 01:05 at the next morning?

br
Matthias
