Sorry, I deleted the original message...

My suggestion would be to modify the various settings in config.pl and
use mkisofs or similar to create a DVD iso image. Then later use
cdrecord or similar to burn that to the DVD. Thus, any OS/system could
simply/easily read the contents.

Some challenges that you may need to resolve:
1) What happens when your archive exceeds 4.7G or 9G or whatever
blueray size, etc...

2) What happens when filesize or filename/path length is too long for
ISO ?

3) How to seperate the individual machines you are backing up ?
Perhaps one client machine for disc, or multiple on one disc etc...

This is one of those cases where we can provide some hints, options,
but at the end of the day you will need to determine what is the best
solution for you.... Possibly, if you provide enough information, then
we may be able to provide better options/suggestions.
