the Centos5 RPM works perfectly on RHEL5. I prefer a debian based system as it is quicker and easier to build a dedicated BPC server with no extra stuff, Centos5/RHEL5 is a lot heavier for the default install.
BTW, if you want an RPM, CentOS 5 testing repo has an RPM for BPC. (CentOS
is a community-supported re-spin of RHEL.) I'm using that on my CentOS 5
system.
