If only it was that simple... mailserv is our mailhub, cyrus imap,
individual files/email plus index, virus scanner (sophos)... we
see a couple of hundred thousand messages a day (we are fortunately
a small site).

While I might be able to convince my manager that we need to halt
Oracle on Lyra for a few minutes to get a clean snapshot, I don't
think there is as much hope for the mail server. There is no sign
of corruption.
