Update: amanda-2.6.2alpha-20090319 worked just fine last night.
I've now downloaded the interim versions between 20090319 and 2009043, and
will test one a night till I'm caught up again.

So amanda-2.6.2alpha-20090321 is installed and passed the su amanda -c
"amcheck Daily" test. Although the server part of the test was really slow,
over 2 seconds.

I'm sorry a pentium won't do, you need an SGI to connect with us.
