Request to client timed out

Amanda users,

I'm running amanda 2.4.4 on Solaris 9, I have multiple clients
on the system, but one of the clients, ironically client == server
see "Request to 'client' timed out" errors periodically. We see
these perhaps once every couple of weeks, but because of the data
volume it really throws things off.

The sendsize report shows that we extimated sizes in about 11 1/2 
minutes, well within the configured etimeout of 1800.. so my first
guess (client responded late) fails. I don't have a good second
guess.

There are no system changes between days when it works and when
it doesn't, I don't know what the trigger is and not sure where
else to look.
