I googled this but didn't find anything conclusive:

amanda-2.5.2p1 compiled with '--with-maxtapeblocksize=2048'
and tapebufs=20 

Can I just disregard it? 

Other, perhaps unrelated issue: what is the relation between those
parameters for amanda-2.5.x and the new feature
`device_output_buffer_size' in 2.6.0?
