While the compatibility list at http://mtx.opensource-sw.net 
doesn't list your library specifically, it does list another
HP fibre-channel library (MSL 6060) and mtx (and mt) generally
don't have too many compatibility problems.

If you don't already have mt and mtx on your system (mt to
manipulate the tape drive and mtx to work the changer), I
suggest you add them.  They are available for most distros.

Then use the "device" options to see which device names
they seem to be able to use to control the drive and changer.
