Greets, amanda-users,

got a request from a user asking if it's possible to run the
amanda-server-part on Apple's OS X.

I assumed "yes" and pointed him at

which points to

which then contains a section suggesting that AMANDA Server won't run on
MacOSX:

At first this means that the Amanda-docs should be more explicit when
talking about "Amanda on OS X": as it seems only the client-part runs there.

My question to you, the users:

Any experience with amanda-server on OS X?
Any infos regarding this newer than the mentioned link above?
