Why did you do the separate install?
My copy of Sol10 x86, the initial FCS release from March 05,
included gcc 3.4.2 as installed. It is located in /usr/sfw/bin.
If for some reason you do need the sunfreeware version, do they
have a specific Sol10 package. There are significant differences
from other releases. Most apps compiled for older releases I
would expect to be upwardly mobile, but compilers ???
If using sunfreeware, do the installation instructions/readme's
suggest running a script called something like "fix headers".
With some gcc releases it was necessary to run the script to
edit some header files.
