amrestore problem:: URGENT!!!

Now I have a problem restoring. I tried to use amrestore but it
returns this to me

#amrecover
AMRECOVER Version 2.4.4p4. Contacting server on localhost ...
amrecover: cannot connect to localhost: Connection refused

I have this entry in /etc/hosts

192.168.0.1 localhost.localdomain. localhost

What could I do for restore?
