Is /dev/sda3 readable for the AMANDA-user?
How do I check if /dev/sda3 is readable by the amanda user?
What does "ll /dev/sda[13]" tell you?
It tells me
brw-rwx--- 1 root disk 8, 1 Mar 19 2002 /dev/sda1
brw-rwx--- 1 root disk 8, 3 Mar 19 2002 /dev/sda3
