I have a problem making function my amanda server. Here is the situation.

Here is the output I obtain when invoquing amcheck

I havn't found anything helping me dealing with amandahostsauth error in
 mailing lists. I searched on the internet to find some help and i tried
 different things advised but they weren't enough.

I installed amanda-2.4.4p2

I changed permissions of the different directories where amanda has to put
information, i created ~amanda/.amandahosts, making that file chmod 600 and
owned by amanda:disk which is the user/group of my amanda user. Inside this
file, i put :

b4.uhp-nancy.fr amanda
b4.uhp-nancy.fr root

I use an amanda.conf file that worked for another machine (with a different 
tape and tape driver) and i adapted things i thought were necessary. I don't 
know if I should put it here. (This amanda.conf was running with an amanda 
server version 2.4.2)

A last information I don't think is really relevant for now: i'm using a
 PowerVault 122T (SDLT 320) with a tape changer.

I have no clue on from where the problem comes from. I would be pleased to
have some help.
