Well, except for your math (100 - 42 is 58% ;), yes.

Sure you could utilize the remainig tape, add more DLE's.
Or halve your dumpcycle.

Or don't put in a tape and let the dumps collect in
the holding disk until you do an amflush.  Oh, wait,
your report seems to be saying a holding disk is not
being used (dumptime == tapetime).
