The "(driver not attached)" concerns me. It certainly is not
something I see when my drives are recognized.
One thing to check, the strings in st.conf and what the drive reports
must match exactly, space for space, case sensitive.
Also, my prtconf show, with an "instance" message, the SCSI ID number.
