Hi,

I recently ran a monthly backup, and there was a tape error and some
disks didn't get to tape.  I resubmitted the dump request, and quite a
few disks got promoted, and the disks I wanted to be put to tape
ended up not making it again.

I ended up commenting out the disks that were already to tape, but I would
was wondering if there was some more automatic way to control the
promotions in this case.

Is there any way to turn off promotions in Amanda?
