Jon,

The only use related variables specified in my amanda.conf are the
following:

netusage  8192 Kbps

holdingdisk hd1 {
    comment "main holding disk"
    directory "/holding/dumps/" # where the holding disk is
    use -1 Mb # how much space can we use on it
                        # a non-positive value uses all space but that value

    chunksize 1Gb # size of chunk if you want big dump to be
                        # dumped on multiple files on holding disks
    }

define interface local {
    comment "a local disk"
    use 20480 kbps
}

define interface alt0 {
    comment "Gigabit interface"
    use 20480 kbps
}

I couldn't find anything that specified a 4096GB reservation size.

-Rob

What is your "use" value set to in amanda.conf? 4096 GB?
