Its when using the amdump... and it did work before.. I guess thats what's messing me up. I tried to retract my steps and find any changes along the way. Unfortunatly there werent any changes.

What amanda command is failing on you ?
did it ever work before ?
recall that amcheck does _not_ send mail by default it
requires the "-m" flag, though amflush and amdump should
be sending mail automatically.
