question of 'amdump'

The amanda on our system use 'gnutar' utility.
The 'amdump' works. But, it doesn't save the absolute path.
For example, when I ran 'amrestore -p /dev/nst0 cat02 | tar tvf -', I saw
the following:
-rw-rw-r-- root/bin 2368 1998-08-13 11:50:32 ./f52_tub.im8
-rw-rw-r-- root/bin 12944 1998-08-13 11:50:33 ./f52_tus.im8
-rw-rw-r-- root/bin 2720 1998-08-13 11:50:34 ./f53_tub.im8
...
I want to see the absolute path like
/usr/openwin/share/images/fish/f52_tub.im8 because this
makes restore easier.
The following is a entry in the file 'disklist':
cat02 /usr/openwin/share/images/fish root-tar
Thanks advanced!
