Well, yes. But the reason I went looking for the discussion I remembered
reading is that I haven't set up a server yet, and was trying to decide whether
I should get a DDS3 tape drive, or if it was worth paying the extra for DDS4.
Or if I wanted to just set up to dump to a removable hard disk instead of a
tape. Biggest tape drive I currently have laying around is a DDS2.

Actually, this is the page I was trying to find.
I must've gone through the Amanda chapter on StorageMountain half a dozen times
yesterday, before I posted asking for help... I don't know why I couldn't find
it. Maybe I need stronger glasses? Or maybe because this example seems (in my
mind, at any rate) to better fit the "Decide Where the Holding Space Will Be"
or
"Configure the Holding Disk" sections than it does "Decide on a Tape Server"
