I don't samba, but I can see lots of places.  

First, a general question, have you decided against using amrecover?



Your command vs. your disklist entry:

  amrestore ...  dilmom        KevDocs         | ... restore ...

                 dilmom    //dilbert/KevDocs     ... gnutar


Two mismatches out of three.

As I say, I don't samba, but this I can see has no chance to work.
Whether resolving the mismatches in this command line will work I have no idea.
