You can work with a macro file (es. backup.mac that contains 'incr -sub=yes "<path-to-backup>") and make a specific schedule bound to that macro (act=macro obj=backup.mac)
With this you can use a minimal dsm.opt (without declarations in include.exclude) but in this case you must accomplish the policy retention at which the node belong to.
An other idea could be the use of archive instead of progressive incremental
An other way the use of 'backup group' but for me, it is too much complex in case of restores...

It is impossible in dsm.opt?
I prefer to not create a specific customized schedule.
