Because the more I can keep on disk the less that goes to tape - another
constrained resource.  We have 7-TSM servers sharing 9-3592 tape drives.
We have over 2PB in our backup systems.  This being a university, the mix
of OS/data objects is considerate.  One server we backup has over 260M
objects.

The DB on this TSM server is only 300GB.
