DSM_CONFIG for dsm.opt and DSM_DIR pointing to the directory where dam.sys is 
located (and some other files). Be sure to also set these variables during boot 
for dsmcad/dsmc sched.

DSMI_DIR is for the API (as is DSMI_CONFIG). Do not use symlinks as suggested 
below.
