Hello David,

We use the TDP for SQL client to perform our backups, using the sample scripts that are shipped with the client.  The scripts are scheduled with the TSM B/A client, using a separate scheduler that performs a 'command' action.  For systems with multiple databases that you want to keep separate nodes for, simply repeat the process of creating a TSM scheduler using a separate dsm.opt file.

Has anyone done TSM Server Scheduling of SQL backups where there are multiple SQL databases on a single server, each using a unique TSM node name for backups?  Any hints?  I'm a TSM server admin but know next to nothing about SQL or TSM for SQL.

David
