Hello all

Tried to run the new feature SCAN of data for Application Protection Reports 
from the TDP for VE GUI  version 7.1.0.2 create a schedule named “VMCLI_SCAN” 
but got this error the error.log

09/06/2014 01:15:14 ANS1512E Scheduled event 'VMCLI_SCAN' failed.  Return code 
= 2.

Tried to run it manually as:

c:\Program Files (x86)\Common 
Files\Tivoli\TDPVMware\VMwarePlugin\scripts>vmcli.cmd -f start_guest_scan 
-dcscan ALL_DC -o VMPROXY

and got this error output:

#ERROR ANS2903E Read domain password failed in function RegOpenPathEx() with 
return code 2
#ERROR Failed to get VMguest password for datacenter HU DATACENTER.
#PARAM STATUS=error

Tried to search for error:   ANS2903E but didn’t find much

I think is connected with Windows registry …….

I run again the command:    C:\Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\baclient>dsmc set 
password -type=vcb  IPVCENTER  adminuser   adminpassword

All other stuff as backups , restore . instant access are working fine !

Any ideas ?
