Hi Rick,

I understand the concern but nothing in the pipeline at this time that I am
aware of to implement the optimized backup. One thing you can do is open an
RFE at http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/?BRAND_ID=90 to request this
be implemented.

If you open the RFE, consider posting the number here, so other interested
users can link to it and add their "me too" to the RFE.
