Hi to all

I tried to install new services for DRM purpose , but when trying to install
the new TSM remote agent got every time an error message:

TSM Windows NT Client Service Configuration Utility
Command Line Interface - Version 6, Release 4, Level 0.10
(C) Copyright IBM Corporation, 1990, 2013, All Rights Reserved.
Last Updated May 14 2013
TSM Api Version 6.4.0

Command: Install TSM Client Service
Machine: EXCHSRVA(Local Machine)

Locating partner client acceptor service 'TSM Acceptor DRM' ...

The partner service couldn't be located.

I tried from dsm gui and manually too, same result.

Here what I did

1. C:\Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\baclient>dsmcutil install cad /name:"TSM
Acceptor DRM " /node:exchsrva /password:XXXX /optfile:"c:\program
files\tivoli\tsm\baclient\drm.opt" /validate:yes /autostart:yes /startnow:no

2. Check the dsmcutil list and saw it:

Installed TSM Client Services:

1. TSM Acceptor DRM

3. C:\Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\baclient>dsmcutil install remoteagent
/name:"TSM Remote DRM" /node:exchsrva /password:XXXX /optfile:"c:\program
files\tivoli\tsm\baclient\drm.opt" /partnername:"TSM Acceptor DRM" /startnow:no

4. Got the error that partner service couldn’t located !!!!!!

5. Installing the scheduler successfully without problem:

                            dsmcutil install scheduler /name:"TSM Scheduler
DRM" /node:exchsrva /password:XXXX /optfile:"c:\program
files\tivoli\tsm\baclient\drm.opt" /startnow:no

dsmcutil update cad /name:"TSM Acceptor DRM "
/cadschedname:"TSM Scheduler DRM"

dsmcutil start /name:"TSM Acceptor DRM "

It’s make me nuts , did it so many times without problems in the past …..

Please advice ….

Regards Robert
