I noticed this a little late, but saw that no one responded....

If you are talking about the storserver ABC client, then yes, this is
true.  The connects to TSM through the api and not the typical
backup/archive method, so TSM scheduling isn't possible.

Looking for info on what I used to understand about this client, that
backups must be run from the client side as it does not have a scheduler
so the TSM server cannot contact it.
Is this still true?
